Classic grape variety tasting with a twist A fun tasting of Chardonnay & Pinot Noir from around the world
Classic grape variety tasting with a twist
Chardonnay & Pinot Noir – two classic grape varieties whose historical homes are in Burgundy in France and now known as ‘international varieties’ as they are grown so widely around the world.
For some Burgundyphiles the wines made from these grapes in other wine regions are no match for Burgundy – at the tasting you will taste a range of styles of wine from around the world, including Burgundy, from Chardonnay & Pinot Noir for you to see for yourselves. Come along and find your favourite, compare unoaked and oak aged Chardonnay and a Pinot Noir from Chile with that of New Zealand and Burgundy.
There will also be a range of cheeses from Fleetville Larder specially chosen to complement the wines
