Intro to Les Oliviers Grenache Cinsault Rose –
Les Oliviers Grenache Cinsault Rose is a serious southern French rose with character and finesse to be proud of!
Full tasting note and wine making –
Les Oliviers Grenache Cinsault Rose is a pale salmon pink in the glass with delicate aromas of meadow flowers and on the palate it has a textured mouthfeel with tangy berry flavours that meld with the satisfying spicy notes from Cinsault.
Olive groves (‘Oliviers’ in French) and vineyards flourish side-by-side in the sun-drenched Mediterranean summers of southern France, where the Grenache and Cinsault grape varieties have been made into rosé wine for over 2,000 years. The two varieties meld together to make a rosé which is at once exuberantly fresh and tangy yet soft and smooth, laced with a gentle spice and brimming with the natural richness of ripe fruit.
The producer –
Like all good stories, that of Boutinot France is both long and a little bit complicated! Boutinot began as a tiny importer in 1980, specialising in French wines. After 10 years, business had grown and Samantha Bailey packed her bags to set up an office in Burgundy. Today, Boutinot’s French office has over twenty employees who take care of production across the whole of France, covering fresh whites and rosés from Gascony, mineral wines from Burgundy, and joyful varietal wines from Languedoc among others. They don’t use any single model to source our wines; instead, a combination of sources are used, from large-scale, high-quality co-ops to small, family growers and single domaines, as well as our own vineyards in Cairanne and Saint-Véran. Drawing on the expertise of four winemakers and a network of partner growers, they seek to deliver the highest quality-to-price ratio possible for every wine.

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday and not normally on Saturdays, Sundays or Bank Holidays though Saturday deliveries are possible on payment of an additional charge.

Delivery Charges
Delivery in St Albans is FREE for orders over £85, for orders less than £85 the charge is £5.
Postal delivery of tasting tickets and vouchers is also FREE if this option is chosen.
Our standard national delivery charge is £10 and is FREE for all orders over £250. The standard delivery is next day for all orders placed by 12noon and the following day for all orders received later than that.
Arrangements in case you’re out at the time of delivery
Please leave clear instructions in the special instructions section on the checkout page so the wine can be left in a safe place to suit you. As our delivery service requires a signature then if your wine is not signed for it is left at your risk and losses are not replaceable. If instructions are not left a card will be put through your door asking you to contact the carrier to arrange re-delivery or collection within 2 days.
