We are an exciting innovative independent wine merchant established in St Albans in 2004 by Julia Jenkins offering excellent wines and service with outstanding wine knowledge and enthusiasm. The company has a strong loyal local following that extends out into Hertfordshire and beyond.

Our superb wine range is a constantly evolving and changing list in which all the wines are carefully selected ensuring that the range of over 500 wines are distinctive and delicious, well made, and expressive of the region of origin. They also offer value for money. Many of the wines are from small wineries producing unusual wines that are not available in the High Street.

Our Shop

It is an Aladdin’s Cave full of exciting delicious wines and is located on Hatfield Road half way between St Albans and Hatfield in a small parade of shops near to the Speckled Hen pub. There is parking outside and the location means there is no need to experience the traffic jams and queues in the town centre.

We run informal free drop in tastings in store every Friday evening and all day Saturday so customers can experience the quality and taste for themselves. Why not come and join in?

In addition, we run a series of winemaker events at different venues in St Albans.
Customised tasting packages can also be organised for corporate events, fundraising, groups of friends and wine clubs to name a few. If you would like more information please contact us.

Our full range of wines etc can be ordered from our secure website. If you prefer the convenience and ability of shopping in your own time then all the information you need to do this easily is available online.

If you have any queries we are just a phone call or an email away and happy to help.

There is no minimum order required so you order 1 bottle if you wish though it is better value to buy a case as cost of delivery is the same for twelve bottles as it is for two bottles.
Delivery can be made on the next working day if the order is received before midday and if stock is available – a preferred delivery date can be stipulated.
