Chapoutier encompasses some of the best appellations in France, the core of which are in the Rhone Valley, including generic and special wines. They also produce delicious wines in Languedoc Roussillon, Alsace and Germany where they follow their philosophy that their wines should reflect the soil and climate, ie terroir, rather than the winemaker’s vision or over use of oak.
The tasting will include the sparkling La Combe Pilate Esteban, one of the Marius wines from the Languedoc, a Provence Rose, and a serious Northern Rhone red wine among others.
The wines will be complemented by a selection of lovely cheeses and charcuterie from Fleetville Larder chosen by Ed.
Date – Friday 25th September 2026
Time – 7.30pm prompt start
Venue – Fleetville Larder, 129 Hatfield Road, St Albans, AL1 4JS
Tickets – £35 per person – must be purchased before the event and confirmed by email.
