Intro to Disznoko Inspiration Dry Tokaji –
Disznoko Inspiration Dry Tokaji is a delicious refreshing and mouthfilling dry white wine with lingering flavour.
Full tasting note and winemaking –
Disznoko Inspiration Dry Tokaji has an intense, nose with lively and elegant showing hints of pears, pineapple, ginger and clay. The palate is clean as a whistle with succulent fruit and a good freshness. It is a blend of 85% Furmint and 15% Harslevelu, made from small quantities of single vineyard batches, individually fermented and aged in old oak barrels and then blended. Initially the oak makes its presence felt but a few hours after opening it retreats to the background.
The essence of this wine is its balance that is dependent on getting picking times right – ripe fruit without too much alcohol, freshness without excess malic acid, structure without rough textures – is a balancing act that has proved a stumbling block for many a Tokaj drys. Inspiration passes this test with flying colours (whether this is a testament to the excellence of the vintage or to the expertise of the winemakers, or both, it is hard to say).

Dating back to 1413 on the land registry and ranked as a Tokaji first growth from 1732, Disznókő is known for producing top Tokaji dessert wines. Over a period of many years of dedication, the winery has crafted its own style of Tokaji wines which are the legendary sweet white wines of Hungary.
Driven by a passion for the purity of the fruit, freshness of the grape varieties and the complexity of the Botrytis, Disznókő has created a portfolio of utterly delicious wines. A well-deserved standout in any desserts wines range.

Delivery Charges
Delivery in St Albans is FREE for orders over £85, for orders less than £85 the charge is £5.
Postal delivery of tasting tickets and vouchers is also FREE if this option is chosen.
Our standard national delivery charge is £10 and is FREE for all orders over £250. The standard delivery is next day for all orders placed by 12noon and the following day for all orders received later than that.
Arrangements in case you’re out at the time of delivery
Please leave clear instructions in the special instructions section on the checkout page so the wine can be left in a safe place to suit you. As our delivery service requires a signature then if your wine is not signed for it is left at your risk and losses are not replaceable. If instructions are not left a card will be put through your door asking you to contact the carrier to arrange re-delivery or collection within 2 days.
