Intro to Felicette Grenache Rouge
Felicette Grenache Rouge is a wonderfully easy drinking red wine full of ripe soft fruit that is mouth filling and lingers on the palate.
Full tasting note and wine making –
Felicette Grenache Rouge is made from Grenache grapes and is a bright red colour with purplish reflections. The wine has a powerful nose of violets and red fruits which is full of delicious raspberry and plum flavours. It is medium-bodied on the palate, soft and juicy.
This wine is a fruity and very well-balanced blend produced in the South-West of France, between Narbonne and Beziers, with a hot and dry Mediterranean climate influence. Soils are sandy and silty as well as a chalk/ clay mix on the hillsides.
The grapes are harvested, destemmed and then either hot macerated to extract colour a beautiful dark red colour, and some are cold fermented to get the best possible varietal fruit extraction. The fermentation is then conducted at controlled temperature with gentle pumping overs to extract only the better tannins. The different pressings are then blended before Christmas and are aged in stainless steel tank to preserve fruit and round tannins. There is no oa aging.
The producer –
Wines inspired by the spirit of place – ‘L’esprit de lieu’. The wines of Terres Fidèles are created in the Roussillon and surrounding regions, a place of remarkable stories where layers of history and cultures are embedded in the raw and wild landscape.
The wines they make are authentic, crafted small batch wines that are wines of the wilds including old vine Grenache, Carignan, Malbec, Cinsault, Viognier and more and they include those namely Felicette, Mont Rocher and Montsablé that they have been proudly producing for some time.

Delivery Charges
Delivery in St Albans is FREE for orders over £85, for orders less than £85 the charge is £5.
Postal delivery of tasting tickets and vouchers is also FREE if this option is chosen.
Our standard national delivery charge is £10 and is FREE for all orders over £250. The standard delivery is next day for all orders placed by 12noon and the following day for all orders received later than that.
Arrangements in case you’re out at the time of delivery
Please leave clear instructions in the special instructions section on the checkout page so the wine can be left in a safe place to suit you. As our delivery service requires a signature then if your wine is not signed for it is left at your risk and losses are not replaceable. If instructions are not left a card will be put through your door asking you to contact the carrier to arrange re-delivery or collection within 2 days.
