Los Poetas Libertad Blend is an easy drinking stylish blend full of ripe fruit.
Full tasting note and wine making –
Los Poetas Libertad Blend is a well balanced wine with a very approachable fruit driven style full of ripe summer fruit with warming spice and clean structured finish.
The entire berry fermentation takes place in small concrete vats, over seven days at 25°C, four pump overs a day and undergoes malolactic fermentation and natural cold stabilization, no oak contact.

Winery: “Everything we do at Altocedro – everything our hands touch – is driven by terroir. We make wine that speaks distinctly of the place where it originates, which only makes sense since Altocedro wines are crafted in the finest winegrowing region in Argentina. La Consulta, in the Mendoza wine country, is blessed with the extraordinary advantages characteristic of the area, including high altitudes in the Andean foothills, excellent sun exposure with moderate temperatures, and pristine mountain water for irrigation. A long history of winemaking distinguishes La Consulta from the rest of the province, both in terms of the expertise concentrated here and the preponderance of old vines. This prized fruit has long been recognized as the highest quality in the country.
Close, careful interaction with the fruit continues in the Altocedro winery. Winemaker and proprietor Karim Mussi Saffie stays in contact with the wine daily, observing and learning from each lot as it evolves towards its fullest expression of place. It’s an artisan approach steeped in tradition, uncomplicated good sense and respect for the fruit and the land. We listen for – and amplify – the way varietal and clone express themselves on a piece of land, bringing to the fore the rewarding elements of each distinct terroir.”

Delivery Charges
Delivery in St Albans is FREE for orders over £85, for orders less than £85 the charge is £5.
Postal delivery of tasting tickets and vouchers is also FREE if this option is chosen.
Our standard national delivery charge is £10 and is FREE for all orders over £250. The standard delivery is next day for all orders placed by 12noon and the following day for all orders received later than that.
Arrangements in case you’re out at the time of delivery
Please leave clear instructions in the special instructions section on the checkout page so the wine can be left in a safe place to suit you. As our delivery service requires a signature then if your wine is not signed for it is left at your risk and losses are not replaceable. If instructions are not left a card will be put through your door asking you to contact the carrier to arrange re-delivery or collection within 2 days.
