Intro to Vina Mayor Crianza –
Vina Mayor Crianza has intense fruit combined with notes of berries and spicy touches of wood, aged in barrels. It is juicy and fresh with round and well integrated tannins from the oak aging.
Full tasting note and wine making –
Vina Mayor Crianza comes from a pioneering winery in Ribera del Duero. Twelve months oak ageing has resulted in a harmonious integration of creamy vanilla oak with forest fruits. Smooth and long with blueberries and hints of spice and coffee.

As one of the first wineries in the Ribera del Duero, we are characterized by an innovative vocation with deep roots in tradition. Always looking for the maximum expression of austere beauty. They make wines with a contemporary spirit with a range that is now renewed, with a great global and future vision, led by winemaker: Almudena Alberca.
They have their own vineyards, located in one of the most prestigious areas of the Ribera del Duero and work with the deepest respect for a unique environment and landscape that look out over the course of the majestic Duero River.
They are defined by an active commitment to the environment and have the Wineries for Climate Protection (WfCP) certification, the first winery in Ribera del Duero to obtain this certificate, and whose objective is to conserve habitats, traditions and wine-growing cultures in the face of a phenomenon of fundamental importance for the vineyard: the climate change.

Delivery Charges
Delivery in St Albans is FREE for orders over £85, for orders less than £85 the charge is £5.
Postal delivery of tasting tickets and vouchers is also FREE if this option is chosen.
Our standard national delivery charge is £10 and is FREE for all orders over £250. The standard delivery is next day for all orders placed by 12noon and the following day for all orders received later than that.
Arrangements in case you’re out at the time of delivery
Please leave clear instructions in the special instructions section on the checkout page so the wine can be left in a safe place to suit you. As our delivery service requires a signature then if your wine is not signed for it is left at your risk and losses are not replaceable. If instructions are not left a card will be put through your door asking you to contact the carrier to arrange re-delivery or collection within 2 days.
