Intro to False Bay Bush Vine Pinotage –
False Bay Bush Vine Pinotage has hints of dark fruits and chocolate leading to a heady mix of fruit, rich chocolate and plums supported by soft tannins on the nose and palate. Perfect Pinotage – youthful, vibrant and fruity.
Full tasting note and wine making –
False Bay Bush Vine Pinotage has a bright nose of summer pudding and cream. The palate has a savoury earthiness redolent of its sandy provenance. There were ideal weather conditions during the harvest season moderate day temperatures, cool night temperatures which had a positive impact on the grape quality with balanced flavours. The best varietal character is brought out by relying on low yielding, old, untrellised bush vines. Pinotage is a proudly South African varietal that allures with an authentic, earthy flavour like no other grape. The grapes for the False Bay Pinotage stem from 30 year and older, unirrigated bush vines in the warmer Paarl region. Fermentation took place in tanks the wine was then aged in large oak vats for 8 months, which tempered the Pinotage tannins, as it allows slow oxygen ingress resulting in a more elegant wine.

Grapes are sourced from the wealth of excellent vineyards in and around the Cape Winelands and this collection of easy-drinking yet quality driven wines are crafted by a passionate team led by winemaker Nadia Barnard, a traditionalist at heart and custodian of the Waterkloof Cellar. Delivery Charges
Delivery in St Albans is FREE for orders over £85, for orders less than £85 the charge is £5.
Postal delivery of tasting tickets and vouchers is also FREE if this option is chosen.
Our standard national delivery charge is £10 and is FREE for all orders over £250. The standard delivery is next day for all orders placed by 12noon and the following day for all orders received later than that.
Arrangements in case you’re out at the time of delivery
Please leave clear instructions in the special instructions section on the checkout page so the wine can be left in a safe place to suit you. As our delivery service requires a signature then if your wine is not signed for it is left at your risk and losses are not replaceable. If instructions are not left a card will be put through your door asking you to contact the carrier to arrange re-delivery or collection within 2 days.
