As if running an Aladdin’s cave of great wines from all around the world, one the many attributes of Flagship Wines is the wine dinners that Julia periodically arranges. The first I attended showcased Yalumba Wines which were presented by Jane Ferrari, Yalumba’s unforgettable and larger than life winemaker and brand ambassador.
The second held in July 2016 showcased Painted Wolf wines from South Africa and again Julia had managed to get top level support in the shape of the owner/wine maker and sometime animal environmentalist Jeremy Borg.
On both occasions the food was good and carefully chosen to match the wines
